  11.       1) About FreeBytes(E),         --- this file
  12.       2) FreeBytes.68k,                ---  runs on 68k Mac and PowerMac
  13.       3) FreeBytes.PPC,                ---  runs on PowerMac only
  14.       4) FreeBytes.FAT,                ---  runs on 68k Mac and PowerMac
  15.       5) About FreeBytes(J).         --- Japanese document

  17. • FreeBytes  is a tiny program which indicates 
  18.   'free bytes' of the current volume and 
  19.   free space of RAM available on the computer.
  20.   The current volume is a disk on which FreeBytes  is running.
  21.   The oval indicator shows the rate of occupation on the current volume.
  22.  
  23. • FreeBytes  requires Macintosh or PowerMac with System7.1 or greater.
  24.  
  25. • No virus is found in this package.

  27. • FreeBytes  is created by using PowerPlant of 
  28.    Metrowerks CodeWarror Pro1 with MacOS 8.
  29.    The author tested that all applications run correctly on several 
  30.    Macintoshes.

  32. • FreeBytes  is a FreeWare.

  56. • Activating this application, a tiny window is opened.
  57.      There are two captions and one indicator on it.

  59. • The upper caption shows the current volume name and 
  60.    free space of it in KB/MB/GB unit.

  62. • The lower caption shows 
  63.    free space of RAM in KB/MB/GB unit.
  64.  
  65. • The oval indicator shows the rate of occupation on the current volume.

  67. • Menu 'FreeBytes':
  68.      • Hide/Show Meter --- makes the indicator invisible/visible
  69.       • Hide/Show RAM   ---  makes the RAM caption invisible/visible
  70.       • Quit                     ---  quit the application

  73.    caption and the indicator.
